Ecological cleaning agents from Planol – biodegradable and gentle
In an era of climate change and increasing environmental pressures, companies’ responsibilities are growing. This also applies to manufacturers of cleaning products. Some of the formulations available on the market contain ingredients that degrade only slowly in the environment. If such substances enter the soil or water, they can have negative effects on ecosystems. In addition, certain ingredients—depending on the product and application—can cause skin irritation or allergic reactions.
To systematically address environmental considerations in cleaning and maintenance, Planol offers the Ecoplan series of cleaning and maintenance products that bear the EU Ecolabel. As such, they meet the applicable EU Ecolabel criteria—for example, regarding ingredients, effectiveness, and environmental requirements. The products are manufactured using selected raw materials and plant-based ingredients.
In addition to our established cleaners, we offer Ecoplan PLUS, a product line designed for applications with higher cleaning performance requirements. These products may contain additional fragrances and/or dyes and—depending on the variant—may be labeled with one or more GHS hazard symbols. Despite these product characteristics, Ecoplan PLUS cleaners also bear the EU Ecolabel. This allows you to achieve effective results in commercial cleaning while using products that have been evaluated and certified according to EU Ecolabel criteria.

Our certifications underscore the quality of our products. We are audited in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. Selected products also meet the requirements of the list of tested cleaning agents for ceramic surfaces in swimming pools (RKI list), the DEKRA laboratory test (compliance with Ö-Norm B 5105; separator-friendly properties), and DIN 18032 Part II (sports hall cleaning).
